Getting Started with a TUMI datahub

A TUMI datahub is an open data portal for a partner city from GIZ TUMI. For example, the open data portal for Fortaleza in Brasil is https://fortaleza.tumidata.org

The open data portal is setup and operated by GIZ TUMI. At a later stage, the city administration can takeover operations to operate the open data portal by its own. GIZ TUMI will provide all artifacts as source codes, components, database contents, etc. and thus give cities a jump start in data driven mobility.

There are five easy steps for a city to get an open data portal for mobility:

  • step 1: get in touch with GIZ TUMI team
  • step 2: support GIZ TUMI team to set up the new TUMI datahub for your city
  • step 3: sign the TUMI datahub operation agreement
  • setp 4: start data management
  • step 5: launch your cities TUMI datahub
